Belstaff's 'Polar Pioneer' AW16 Collection, inspired by Edith "Jackie" Ronnie's Antarctic expedition of 1947, was nothing short of a cool experience. Located at One Marylebone under high grey arches, the crypt was transformed into an arctic wonderland.
The collection incorporates both polar and moto inspirations, leather pants combined with fur-lined parkas emphasise the brands attitude of freedom of spirit. The predominant garment of the collection was most definitely the outerwear, with the polar temperates in mind, wearability and comfort were in mind. Fur-lined leather jackets, shearling coats, and knitted jumpers made you look forward to going out in the cold.
