Burberry Oxblood

I don't think I love anything more than bold red lipstick, there's just something about wearing it that's so empowering, I'm not sure if that's just me being weird or if other people feel it too, it's also a statement look for the winter season, and I think it will be for the foreseeable future.
I used to be faithful to Smashbox when it came to lipsticks, I loved the variety of shades and how they looked and sat with my lips, always stayed on during heavy nights out and because they're so compact they sat nicely in my purse, but as I'm trying to be the "new me"  I thought I'd be brave and branch out and try a different brand, and after lots of searching and stumbling across Iris Law's Instagram I fell in love with Burberry's Oxblood shade, and to my shock and surprise it was around the same price range as Smashbox, to add to the delight there was free next day delivery and the option to gift wrap it for free (thought I might as well treat myself if it's free), and I'm so sad that I can't show you how it came, but from Burberry you can assume the quality was always going to be good.

Autumn Approach

Winter is coming... unlike the King of the North I am so excited for winter, wearing 100 layers, Halloween, Christmas dinner, Winter Wonderland, so many exciting things to come!
And with that, so many new outfits to be worn.
At the moment I'm getting back into learning how to put outfits together again, I've pretty much lived in jeans, jumpers, and tracksuit bottoms for this entire year so my whole concept of how to dress myself has gone out the window, but I'm REALLY into colour co-ordinating at the moment if you can't tell from below, also I'm setting my thigh dips free and representing for the girls that don't have beautifully rounded thighs, just got to own it, eh?

Horsham

As someone that works varying shift hours and has no real set routine day-to-day, I find it hard to completely relax on my days off as I feel I need to make the most of whatever free time I actually get, and personally there is no better way for me to relax than spending the day eating delicious food and exploring with my number one.

Our favourite go-to restaurant is ALWAYS Wagamama's, the portion sizes are huge, the flavours are amazing, and it's honestly so worth the money (for those of you that haven't been, you can view the menu here).

Return to blogging...

Diamond Flap 17 Colours Square Sizes | Pitshanger Ltd
It's been a long time since I've sat down in front of my laptop and I've actually had to think about something to write. When I first started this website as cybrgirl, I honestly didn't know what to expect, it started out just being a little hobby for me and I honestly didn't care if anyone did or didn't like what I posted, it was like my own little diary and it kept me so motivated and occupied, however when I got invited to my first batch of shows I was in awe and wanted to do more and more, and I began to focus on what I thought PR companies wanted to see over what I actually wanted to do and I kind of wasn't doing it for me anymore I was just doing it to try and look good and fit in with the community a bit more, I was seeing so many other fashion bloggers doing such amazing things and I couldn't understand why I wasn't doing the same.

This year in particular has been one of the hardest and most stressful years of my life, there was a point I completely lost who I was as person, I really just didn't feel like me anymore. I lost my drive and motivation to succeed and to get where I wanted, I was pretty much ready to give up. However, with the constant help and support of my wonderful, caring boyfriend (who I definitely couldn't have done this without) I've slowly started to regain some confidence in myself.

So welcome to the new website www.beckyjaneryan.co.uk where I will actually be writing and posting from me for me, it will no longer just be fashion either, this little blog will be my own personal diary from what I eat, to where I go, documenting my journey in life.

Here's too a fresh start and self love.
